    • LOAN OFFICER POSITION - St. Tammany Parish
    • Job Description:

      • Originate Conventional, FHA, VA and Rural Development mortgages.
      • Must have the ability to present different loan products to consumers for review.
      • Collect and analyze consumer’s financial information to determine if the client and the property qualify for a particular loan.
      • Submit completed loan applications to the processing department.
      • Work closely with Processors in managing work flow to ensure deadlines are met.
      • Communicate with clients and real estate partners through the entire loan process to ensure a positive experience.
      • Market to real estate partners, builders, developers, and other referral sources to attract new business and build your partner portfolio.
      • Attend and participate in real estate and community functions.



      Qualifications and Skills:

      • A minimum of 2 years of current mortgage origination experience
      • An active NMLS license
      • Must be familiar with current lending regulations
      • Must be organized with effective communication skills
      • Ability to pay attention to details
      • Ability to work under deadlines and work well with others

      Educational Requirements:

    • MORTGAGE LOAN PROCESSOR - St. Tammany Parish
    • Job Description:

      • Works directly with Loan Officers on their loan portfolios.
      • Extensive contact with clients both on the phone and in person in regards to their loan file.
      • Review loan applications and verify the accuracy of the client’s data.
      • Collect and evaluate client’s financial information including salary, assets, debts and expenses.
      • Review active loan files each day to determine if any documents are missing or what can be done to help the process.
      • Ensure compliance with investor’s regulations.
      • Submit a detailed loan package to the Underwriting department for final loan approval.
      • Communicate with the Underwriter on items that may be missing on the file.
      • Clear all underwriting conditions in a timely manner to ensure the loan closing time is met.
      • Communicate with closers and title companies to ensure closing documents are being prepared in order to meet closing deadlines.
      • Communicate with insurance companies to ensure homeowners/flood insurance policies meet the requirements for the loan.

    • JUNIOR LOAN OFFICER POSITION - St. Tammany Parish
    • Job Description:

      • Works closely with Loan Officer on potential leads and assist with outreach to current portfolio of loans.
      • Extensive contact with clients both on the phone and in person in regards to their loan file.
      • Respond to client’s general questions and assist potential clients in the absence of the Loan Officer.
      • Assist Loan Officer in the collection and analysis of the Consumer’s financial information.
      • Assist Loan Officer in assessing the client’s financing circumstances to determine if the client and the property qualify for a particular loan.
      • Assist Loan Officer in preparing preliminary loan for processing by obtaining missing loan documents and reviewing loan documents for completeness/accuracy.
      • Communicate with real estate partners on the status of the files.
      • Assist Loan Officer with pre-approvals.
      • Assist Loan Officer with support on managing loan lock expiration dates.
      • Work closely with Loan Processor in managing work flow to ensure deadlines are met.
      • Assist loan officer with marketing material or marketing when needed.
      • Maintain product knowledge and stay up to date on changes.
      • Must sit for the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System test to get licensed. Must complete the pre-education class and pass the National test. Candidate will be allowed 3 attempts to pass as condition of continued employment with Standard Mortgage Corporation. Standard Mortgage will pay for the pre-education class and exam fees.

    • Job Description:

      •Contact and resolve delinquent first mortgage loan accounts
      •Process payments on delinquent accounts
      •Monitor follow up call log
      •Document payment plans to collections software


      Qualifications and Skills:

      • Organized and able to multi-task
      • Excellent listening and communication skills
      • Available to work evenings and Saturdays when needed
      • Experience with FHA, VA, Rural Housing, Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac loans is helpful

      Minimum Requirements:

      • High school diploma or equivalent
      • Minimum 2 years collections experience
      • Familiarity with Microsoft Office software and phone systems
