With over 33 years of experience in mortgage banking, ranging from origination and processing to production today, Sharon enjoys opening doors and taking on challenging cases.  The clock and the calendar don’t deter or limit Robbins’ commitment to her clients.  A true love for her job and the people that trust her to get them into their new home fuel her passion. 

If you’re a first-time home buyer, Robbins is as eager as you are to get you into your new house.  With a highly-developed network of REALTOR® relationships, and the experience and knowledge of the mortgage process, she can make at as smooth and as comfortable as possible.  She owned her own business as a broker from 1997 to 2005 and has experience with everything from your standard conventional loan to non-conforming mortgages and beyond.  However, as the mortgage market changes, there are a lot of things to keep up with.

The modifications to bond ratios are an important factor as they determine the payment ranges and expectations her clients and their REALTORS® need to be aware of.  Even something as small as an HOA due can impact a mortgage application, and Robbins is mindful of this factor for her clients. 

Robbins is familiar with the Baton Rouge area.  She grew up in Livingston Parish and attended Southeastern Louisiana University, where she played basketball.  When Sharon isn’t in the office or out helping her clients, she loves to run, swim, exercise, and stay active.  She and her husband of 18 years have four children and nine grandchildren.  She’s helped all of her children with their home loans.
