The north shore of Lake Pontchartrain is as unique as the city that sits on the opposite side of the water.  Mandeville is a family-oriented community steeped in history dating back to the early 1800’s.  From the Moore House “Hightide” and the Morel-Nott House, both on the National Register of Historic Places, as well as on the shore of Lake Pontchartrain, to the water oriented lifestyle full of magnolia, pine, and live oaks; Mandeville offers a welcoming embrace to any and all.  This is one of the reasons that Mandeville native, Eric Weller, has made a career out of helping people make Mandeville their home.

Growing up in Mandeville as the son of mortgage banker, Weller was inspired to pursue a degree in business.  Upon graduating from St. Paul’s, he did exactly that at Louisiana State University.  He joined Standard Mortgage after earning his degree from LSU, and has since become a member of the Mandeville Chamber of Commerce and the Home Builder’s Association.  Serving the community where he was raised is a great source of pride for Weller.

Embracing technology and streamlining the mortgage process for his clients has helped Weller provided exceptional service.  Giving first-time home buyers comfort, and offering an honest, straightforward opinion helps while helping people make one the biggest decisions of their lives.   

Now married with a six month old son, Weller enjoys working with friends and family as they make their way back to home to Mandeville.  When he’s not working on building the north shore’s family environment, you may find him on the golf course or a tennis court; but you can always depend on him finding a way to make his client’s goals a reality.
