Originally from Houston, TX, Talbot Aucoin has called Louisiana home since 2013. He is a graduate of Louisiana State University and is proud to serve clients throughout Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas.
His career in financial services began in the insurance industry, where he built a strong foundation in risk assessment, financial protection, and client advocacy. Through that experience, he gained a clear understanding of how significantly a mortgage shapes a client’s overall financial picture. Appreciating that a mortgage is one of the most impactful financial decisions a client will make, he chose to transition into lending to play a more direct role in that process.
Today, Talbot combines that background with a disciplined, solutions-oriented approach to mortgage lending. He has built his business primarily through referrals and long-term relationships, reflecting his commitment to clear communication, responsiveness, and dependable service. Whether assisting first-time homebuyers or experienced investors, his approach remains consistent: provide straightforward guidance and structure solutions that align with each client’s long-term financial goals.
Outside of work, Talbot enjoys following LSU football, playing golf whenever he has the opportunity, and making the most of time with his child and family. Having called Louisiana home for over a decade and planning to remain here long term, he values building lasting partnerships with clients and real estate professionals across the region.
