Celebrity real estate listings are always fun to check out, and here’s one with local appeal.
Longtime New Orleans Saint Jahri Evans was dropped from the team roster in February, but now the veteran offensive guard is ready to move on to greener pastures. He just listed his Plantation-style home outside of New Orleans for $768,000.
You can see the listing at Realtor.com.
Built in 1982, the home has many classic New Orleans–style features, including a full second-story balcony and giant fleur-de-lis mural in the game room. But the interiors have been updated, and there’s no hint of ’80s decor.
There are also plenty of amenities like fireplaces in nearly every room, a chef’s kitchen, and a walk-in closet with a window seat.
At 32, Evans shouldn’t have any trouble securing another spot on an NFL team. The 10-year veteran has a Super Bowl ring, six Pro Bowls, and four All-Pro selections under his prodigious belt.
